Ishaan joined the company in January 2026 as part of the Business Development and Trading team, supporting the firm’s growth across the African and Middle Eastern markets. He is actively involved in originating new business, developing cargo flows, and strengthening relationships with counterparties across key physical markets.

He brings close to a decade of experience in the oil trading and operations sector, with hands-on exposure across key markets including MENA, East and South Africa, the Mediterranean, Latin America, Asia, and the Far East. Starting his career with Trafigura, he has worked with global trading companies, gaining extensive experience across business development, trading, and operations.

His background spans crude oil and refined products, with particular depth in the Middle Eastern and East African markets. Having worked closely with trading, operations, shipping, risk, finance, and compliance functions, he brings a strong end-to-end understanding of physical oil trading, enabling him to identify commercially viable opportunities while ensuring operational robustness.

His blend of market knowledge, operational expertise, and relationship-driven approach supports the company’s continued expansion across global energy markets.

Ishaan holds an MBA in Operations, complemented by a foundation in Mechanical Engineering. He pursued his education in Mumbai, India.
