Meet The Team

Christopher joined the company in 2021 as the Global Head and oversees the day-to-day activities of the company. Aside from overseeing the company’s existing portfolio, he is responsible for spearheading the business development drive into becoming a market leader for Energy worldwide.

Christopher is celebrating his 20th year in the oil & gas sector this year and has previously headed up the global trading teams of international energy trading companies. He has physical experience trading across the barrel from crude to LPG, but specialises on refined products blending and trading.

Having previously held roles in trade finance, Risk Management, operations and shipping it allows Christopher to effectively manage the company’s overall portfolio from the inception of the trade until completion.

Having been stationed in Singapore, London, New York and now Dubai, he has been an active participant of the oil & gas community for 20 years which has granted him a network of trading partners across all regions of trade from Asia, Middle East, Europe/Med, Africa and the Americas.

Christopher studied Business & Economics at Southampton Solent University, UK and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Keshia Poyo joins as a Regional Manager to support the company’s business development drive. She is a seasoned logistics and diplomatic professional, leveraging her multilingual fluency in French, English, and Mandarin Chinese to bridge communication gaps in international settings. With a robust educational background from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, she holds a Master’s Degree in International Logistics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

Keshia’s career spans logistics, human resource management, and administrative support, showcasing her ability to negotiate with carriers and freight forwarders for cost-effective transportation solutions, manage complex HR responsibilities, and facilitate seamless communication across different cultures and languages.

Her distinguished 6 years tenure at the Embassy of the Gabonese Republic to the People’s Republic of China allowed her to thrive in various capacities showcasing her adeptness in both strategic planning and execution.
Her ability to operate across different cultures and languages not only enhances her effectiveness in logistics management but also underscores her versatile skill set in international trade and diplomatic relations.

Keshia’s career is characterized by a commitment to excellence, strategic international engagement, and a profound capability to navigate complex multilingual environments.

Arshad Ali has joined the company in the position of Head of Internal Compliance & Audit and will review, oversee, and preserve the company’s internal procedures, compliance and audit.

Arshad is a qualified and adept finance professional with over 16 years of robust experience and background in Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Audit.

Arshad was educated with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM), before he completed a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA Finance) at the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan. He is a qualified Forensic Accountant at IFAP Pakistan and a Chartered Accountant with ICAP Pakistan.

Arshad has built his experience over the years and started working for Deloitte in 2007, before moving into the banking industry as Audit Team Lead at the First Micro Finance Bank Limited. He eventually progressed into the private sector where he held Financial Controller roles with companies specialising in the Marine, Shipping, Power, Logistics and Asset management sectors.

He is proficient in identifying financial risks and procedural discrepancies in local, national, and international business settings, showing a strong understanding and knowledge of regional and global compliance standards.

Stephen joined GTT in December 2022 as a Senior Trader and brings with him over 17 years of knowledge and experience in the physical oil & gas trading and risk management sector.

In particular, he specialises in trading LNG, LPG and light ends, areas in which the company is already active, but looking to expand.

Stephen has experience executing derivatives and hedging physical exposure and has been instrumental in setting up and maintaining risk management departments in small and large international trading houses.

He has a positive track record in trading and lifting LNG from Nigeria and other areas, managing the deal from inception of the trade to overseeing the shipping, operations and risk management of until completion.

Stephen is a well-liked and active member of the Oil & Gas community.

Holly-Ann Rice has joined the GTT family in Dubai in January 2024.

Holly has been appointed Operations Manager and will oversee the day-to-day global maritime logistics of the company’s commodity trading operational activity.

Holly’s education was completed in the UK, before she commenced on her commodities career with commodity trading company Trafigura. Holly was initially stationed in Singapore specialising in Oil Market analysis and research for Crude and Petroleum Products, before moving to Trafigura’s Geneva branch in Switzerland where she developed her expertise within the Crude Risk analysis and expanded her role alongside commodity-focused investment relations. Finally, Holly rounded her knowledge taking on a role in commodity global operations spanning across Europe, Baltics, Far East, Africa and the Americas.

Holly is a well-regarded individual and participant in the oil & gas community. Her diligent and methodical approach to operations and logistics will improve the company’s operational efficiency and continue our high demanding levels of operational flexibility and reliability.
