Yvann Sobrin joined the GTT family in December 2023 in the capacity of Business Development Manager. He started his career as a Market Research Analyst and progressed into Junior Trading and Business Development roles in small to medium-sized trading firms.

His primary focus area is Francophone West-Africa, where he has an extensive knowledge of the market and has built strategic relationships.

Yvann, an Ivorian national, graduated with honors from Middlesex University and after embarking on a Master’s degree in International Trade and Business Management. Yvann specialised his training and rounded his knowledge in oil trading and operations from renowned institutions like CITAC and IBH, laying the groundwork for a promising career in the industry.

Balancing a keen understanding of global markets with a knack for establishing vital industry relationships, Yvann has joined GTT to support its expansion into the Franco-phone African region.

Yvann is fluent in English and French.
